"Writer and lead actress Sarah Rodenbaugh used her own suicide loss experience that she had been living for years as well as the time it took to get everything just right to create this incredibly inventive and moving film. Its high concept naturally flows into a well-paced narrative about grief that feels absorbing and honest even when it veers into absurdity. It feels like every frame is supposed to be here and every emotional cue hits just the right note, which couldn’t have been easy in a film that features such a varied tonal range between tragedy and comedy in its tight 15 minutes. Hangman was the result of a lot of work and a lot of love, and it evokes empathy from an audience who has dealt with any kind of loss of a loved one and the prolonged and complex grieving process."        - Shannon Gissy, Mental Filmness Film Festival

"Not only did Sarah bring life and imagination to her character,

she raised the bar for the rest of the cast."

"Point a camera at Sarah, and great things start to happen. Suddenly your script ceases to suck, the energy starts to bounce, and you realize - hot damn! She's always game, always prepared, and always putting in the brains, art, and sweat to make your creative endeavor the best it can be."

JONATHAN FOREST STRAILEY

Director, Chocolate Covered Hand Grenade

"Sarah Rodenbaugh is fearless.

Given the opportunity to tackle a meaty role, she'll not only tackle it, Sarah will wrestle it to the ground,

wrench its comedy from every pore, and make your     sides sore from laughter. Too aggressive? Never. It's that fearlessness that makes her performances memorable and makes writers think, 'THAT is what the material was meant to look like, living.'

I cannot wait to cast Rodie again."

"Sarah Rodenbaugh brought so much to our project, she opened up the character that we created and made it truly her own .... now, we can't imagine anyone else in that role.

           She's brilliant!"
